FAQs

What type of clients do you see?

Our practice is devoted to serving girls and women of all ages as they navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and more.

What do “the letters” mean?

Each of our therapists has completed a graduate degree in mental health counseling. Upon graduation, each therapist must complete two years of supervision with an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).

LPC, MHSP = Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation (fully licensed)

LPC-MHSP (temp) = temporarily Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation

NCC = National Certified Counselor, not licensed yet

Do you take insurance?

In order to provide comprehensive care for our clients, we do not accept insurance. As a group practice, we are out of network with all insurance companies; however, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to discover what they may reimburse you for therapy. We are able to get the appropriate paperwork to file with your insurance company. You may check your coverage by calling your insurance provider and asking the following questions:

  • Do you cover any portion of out-of-network outpatient behavioral health/counseling?

  • How much of each therapy session is covered?

  • How do I submit the necessary paperwork for reimbursement?

What are your fees?

Our fees range from $135 - $160 per 50-minute session with one of our therapists. Our fees are set based on experience and level of specialized certifications. We do not want money to stand in the way of your mental health. Your therapist can work with you on setting the pace of your treatment to help accommodate you.

Do you provide telemental health appointments?

We do offer telemental health appointments. Our goal is to have all of our clients meeting in our office for our appointments; however, we do not want that to be a barrier for any of our clients. Our therapists can discuss the different types of sessions with you.

Do you prescribe medication?

We are not authorized to prescribe medication, but we do collaborate with local medical professionals to provide you the best mental health care.
